Three bedroomed villa with pool in beautiful countryside setting. Ca’n Pau is located in the beautiful and secluded Sierra La Coma valley, yet only 10 minutes from the charming old town of Pollensa with its medieval streets, pastel painted houses and main square lined with cafes and restaurants. The villa is set amongst gardens of carob, olive, fig and oak trees and there are wonderful views of the spectacular Tramuntana mountains. The only neighbours are grazing sheep in the nearby fields. Rustic in style, the villa is furnished simply but comfortably in a mixture of modern pine and antique furniture. White walls contrast with pine beam ceilings and cool tiled floors. The swimming pool is set to the rear of the house and is enclosed by a fence and is surrounded by a terrace and lawns. This is an ideal family villa in a wonderfully tranquil location. The nearest beaches are at Cala San Vicente and the attractive resort of Puerto Pollensa with its long sandy beach and renowned Pine Walk, both less than 20 minutes away by car.

Historic POLLENSA is situated in the hills, in the north of Mallorca, in the lee of the Tramuntana Mountains. It is a peaceful old town that has been largely unaffected by tourism. The town was established a few miles inland to protect against any sudden pirate attacks; its harbour, Puerto Pollensa, was left as an unprotected outpost. Some of Pollensa’s historic medieval centre remains around the Plaça Major, the main square, including the church of Nostra Senyora dels Àngels. Other than the church, the main square houses a cluster of bars and cafés, and on Sunday morning, a busy market. Just north of the square is the Via Crucis (Way of the Cross), a long stone stairway up the slope of El Calvario, bordered by ancient cypress trees. At the top of El Calvario, is a small chapel. On Good Friday, a figure of Jesus is slowly carried down the steps by torchlight in the Davallament (Lowering).
Ca’n Pau is built on one level in a traditional country style with beamed ceilings, cool white walls and tiled floors. There is an air-conditioned living room with a feature fireplace and sitting and dining areas with doors which open onto the shady furnished terrace, that runs the full length of one side of the property and is the perfect spot for dining al fresco. The kitchen is modern and well equipped and also has a door opening onto the terrace. There is a separate utility room with a washing machine. There are three air-conditioned bedrooms, the master twin bedded room which also has an ensuite bathroom and two further twin bedded rooms which share a full bathroom. Ca’n Pau has its own attractive gardens of carob, olive, fig and oak trees, with areas of lawn set amongst which is the swimming pool, which measures 8 x 5 metres and has built in steps at one end.
The pool is surrounded by a furnished sun terrace and is fenced making it particularly suitable for families with young children. In the garden there is also a large carob tree to provide shade from the sun. There is a built in BBQ area which is adjacent to a separate shower room beside the pool area.
