Stunning Mountain Views. 3 double bedrooms (all ensuite), sleeps 6. Air con. Casa Ladera is a beautiful, romantic villa in the Mountains of Pollensa, (North Mallorca) with a private, HEATED pool and air con in all bedrooms. The villa, is in a secluded setting but still close enough to Pollensa Old Town and local beaches of Puerto Pollensa and Cala San Vincenc. The house, which has been comprehensively refurbished and modernised to a high standard, is an ideal place for a peaceful summer holiday in the unspoilt area of Northern Mallorca where you can enjoy magical mountain views and spectacular sunsets from the terrace. The villa is reached via a series of stone steps which lead up to the front door through the charming gardens of bougainvillea, hibiscus and other vibrant Mediterranean flowers as well as two lily ponds full of frogs! The private, heated pool is set to one side of the villa with large sunbathing patio and sunbeds. There is also a built in BBQ, bar and changing area.

The new town of Puerto Pollensa with its restaurants, shops, marina and sheltered beaches is only 10 minutes drive away as are the picturesque coves of Cala San Vicente, where you can enjoy fabulous Spanish paella. The historic market town of Pollensa is only a 5 minute drive and the nearest supermarket only a couple of minutes by car. Tennis is available and there is also a good golf course close by. Pollensa is an ideal location for bird watching especially during the migrating season as the area is in the migratory path. Walking, cycling and riding are lovely early or late in the season when the weather is more temperate and the sailing is, of course, magnificent in the famous Pollensa Bay. Puerto Pollensa also offers a great choice of water sports including sailing, scuba diving, water skiing and there are also boats for hire should you wish to explore the bay. In Pollensa old town square you can find a good selection of restaurants and pavement cafes to relax in the shade.
Safety notes: We welcome families with young children to Casa Ladera every year, however we just draw your attention to the following safety issues. The terrace (outside the living area) which is set above ground overlooking the gardens, has a low wall surround, with bougainvillea plants growing above it, but no high railings, so please take care with young children. The swimming pool and lily ponds have low wall surrounds but are not fenced for children. The swimming pool and terrace are illustrated in the pictures on this website, but please do contact us for further information if required. Please note that the villa is in a quiet area and we do ask guests to be aware of other residents in respect of noise both during the day and at night.
Water Sports: The area is wonderful for all kinds of water sports including sailing, water skiing and diving. Boat hire and dive shops can be found in nearby Puerto Pollenca. Details available from the owner.
Bird Watching: Mallorca is in the migratory path and therefore Casa Ladera provides the ideal place to stay for keen bird watcher during the migrating season.
Golf: The fabulous Alcanada Golf Course is only 15 minutes drive from the villa and it is sometimes possible to negotiate favourable prices for our guests, depending on numbers and time of year. We are also happy to assist with bookings if required. Please contact the owner for details and assistance. Pollenca Golf Course is also only a five minute drive from the villa. Though smaller than Al Canada, this is a lovely picturesque course.
