Being central on the island you are extremely well placed to explore in any direction. We are also well located for the many spectacular mountain hikes Mallorca has to offer. For the energetic we can also supply some bicycles. The accommodation has a covered deck with dining facilities and gas barbecue. Inside nothing has been spared in furnishing this space. The kitchen area is fully equipped. The rooms are compact but luxuriously furnished. The ceilings are low. There is one double bedroom and a small single bedroom. The accommodation has its own large garden with sun loungers and terrace. There is also a separate laundry room and shower room.

Our farm is about a 15 min walk from Llubi train station down a quiet country lane. Trains passing through Llubi currently run between Palma and Sa Pobla. By changing trains you can also reach Manacor and Soller.

Son Barrina boasts the largest organic shop on the island and we stock many organic products from England, Germany and Holland, as well as the bio-dynamically produced produce from the farm. We have two cows, Daisy and Hilda, as well as four sheep, chickens and ducks, cats and two dogs. The water reservoir doubles as a wonderful fresh water swimming pool, like a small lake, a pool for swimmers only being 4 m deep, but one, which you are welcome to share. A sandy area with net is available to use with the volleyball or badmington set available. There is a complete fitness room with a good variety of machines and free weights. We can arrange a personal trainer. Faxes can be sent and received in the shop. Wireless internet is also available. International phone calls can be made from the shop. The accommodation does have some electrical heating. The deck has clear waterproof panels which make it useable on rainy days too.

Please bear in mind that this is a farm and there are animals, including our two dogs who are very friendly. Doey is a labrador and Lucy is a small and sometimes naughty mongrel.

The house is ideally situated, right in the middle of the island, close to the Tramuntana mountains. Being so central, the whole island is very accessible for exploration in all directions. The small village of Moscari is 2 km away, and 3 km away is Inca, the second biggest city in Mallorca, with all its shops bars and restaurants. The nearest beach, Alcudia is only 20 minutes away by car. All nearby villages in the North are worth a visit, each lovely in their own way. Alcudia, with its lovely beaches, Roman ruins and bird sanctuary. Pollensa, an artists’ town with a lovely old center, golf course and various beautiful beaches. Campanet, a typical small village, and many others. Walks around the area are highly recommended, since the countryside still preserves the old taste of rural life. There are many mountain walks within 7-8 minutes car ride.

‘Far from the madding crowd’ would sum up this beautiful villa. It is located on the edge of a small rural village, which thrives on local industry, rather than commercial tourism. Although during the weekdays, there may be some periodic noise emitted from a nearby block works, the very reasonable rental rates easily compensate for this, and the evenings, nights and weekends are wonderfully quiet and peaceful. The village of Maria de la Salut is a 5min walk, and has bakeries, small supermarkets etc. for daily provisions. There is also a regular bus service to neighbouring village, Sineu, 6km away, which is larger and has several good restaurants, and a very popular market every Wednesday morning, which sells everything from antiques to live animals. (Children really enjoy this.) The nearest beach is Ca´n Picafort/Alcudia – a 12km long beach with pristine white sand, about a 15 to 20min drive. Being centrally located, it is not far to almost anywhere on the island.

Porreres is a village of 5000 people in the rolling hills of the centre of Mallorca. The are 15 -25 minutes drive to the variety of southern and eastern breaches. There are many good restaurants with in easy distance and the village offers all commercial necessities. It is a 15 minute walk into the village, there are 23 bars 5 restaurants, 6 supermarkets, a museum, an auditorium, and a very extensive pedestrian area. There is a public sports centre for a daily charge of 4€ with machine room, bicycle machines, swimming pool. There is a 20 minute drive to the airport, and 15 minutes to Palma. Along with Porreres itself there are the neighbouring villages of the centre of the island all with their own monasteries on the top of the nearest mountains offering lovely walks and eating areas for picnics and or restaurants with local food.

Preferable that the guests do not smoke within the caseta. Use of the swimming pool is at the guests own risk. The pool is shared with the owners of the property.

Golf Pollensa opened in 1986 and underwent a complete renovation programme in 2000 bringing it up to the excellent standard it boasts today. Typical Trent Jones features like 58 well placed green side and fairway bunkers, challenging greens with hidden breaks and difficult but fair tee shots make this course a must for golfers in Mallorca. At least as spectacular as the design is the location, views of the bay of Alcudia and beyond can be seen from nearly every hole. Club Alcanada is the only course in Mallorca that is right alongside the sea. You will find pure nature on this course with a variety of wild life and rare species of birds, especially in the early morning hours.

This fabulous apartment is ideal for families and couples alike who are looking for peace, privacy and yet only a ’stones throw’ away from the resort amenities including the many shops, bars, restaurants and not forgetting the famous marina of Cala D’Or. You will find many golden sandy beaches all around a 5 minute walk from the property. The Val D’Or golf course is only a 10 -15 minute drive away. Cala D’Or is located on the South East of the island of Mallorca and the journey time from Palma airport is around 45 minutes. A taxi from outside the airport is approx 65 euros, car hire is available at the airport and in the resort centre. Palma City is around 1 hour’s drive and boasts fabulous shopping! and its cathedral is a must for architect and cultural lovers. A large supermarket is in Cala Egos, as are excellent local restaurants, bars, shops & banks. A children’s activity park is in Cala Egos. A small train takes you around the Cala D’Or area and costs only a few euros each way.

* Bookings will be accepted by telephone or e-mail and confirmed by receipt of a 25% deposit. Balance plus a £100 bond is due 8 weeks before your departure date. Directions including a map showing the route from the airport and arrangements for access to the apartment will be posted to you approx 7- 10 days prior to your departure date. £100 bond against breakages and damages will be refunded to you upon receipt of a satisfactory report from our resort service team.
* Changeover day is Saturday but this can be flexible out of school holiday/peak season dates.
Entry to the property is from 3.00pm and departure time on the last day is set at 10.00am this is also flexible.

Cala Mondrago beach is situated in the beautiful National Park and is a 15 minute drive from the property, This beach was voted one of the Top 10 in the world this year, it is a stunning beach with amazing turquoise waters, not to be missed. The National Park is home to lots of different wildlife and has lots of picnic areas and lovely places to walk around. The fishing villages of Cala Figuera , Porto Petro , Port Cristo and Porto Colom are all worth visiting. Tennis courts and a Sports Centre with indoor pool are all within walking distance. An indoor bowling alley which is great for children is only minutes walk from the property. The local markets of Santanyi and Felanitx are also worth the visit.
