The outside area of the property:: With a breathtaking mountain backdrop and 5000 square metres of grounds, this traditional villa stands within easy reach of shops, restaurants and nightlife, beaches and a golf course. Simply furnished and super spacious, its ground floor is home to a sitting/dining room topped by beamed ceilings. Added comforts, include air-conditioning in the first floor bedrooms and a bougainvillea shaded pergola by the pool, with a stone table for al fresco snacking. Two old stone buildings, a few steps from the main house, have been converted to provide separate one bedroom air-conditioned guest suites with their own facilities and terrace – ideal for family, friends or teenages. The grounds of the villa are overlooked only by the house itself, with the master bedroom balcony looking down on the pool. Well positioned for ease of access to amenities.
Accommodation notes:: ‘La Font’ is equipped wiith a central heating system and the master suite on the first floor has got an airconditioning unit set up. The BBQ is placed at the covered terrace with access to the kitchen.
Golf: ‘The most important shot in golf is the next one’ – Ben Hogan There are two fabulous public golf courses both within a 10 to 15 minute drive from the village is a beautiful setting with nine holes of golf perfectly integrated into the local environment. The course offers panoramic views over the Mountains, olive groves, the bays of Pollensa and Alcudia and s’Albufereta reserve. Golf Pollensa opened in 1986 and underwent a complete renovation programme in 2000 bringing it up to the excellent standard it boasts today. The greens are maintained in perfect condition and there are two lakes, beautiful vegetation as well as olive and pine trees. . Reservations may be required.English spoken. CLUB ALCANADA designed by Robert Trent Jones Jnr opened 2003. Typical Trent Jones features like 58 well placed green side and fairway bunkers, challenging greens with hidden breaks and difficult but fair tee shots make this course a must for golfers in Mallorca. At least as spectacular as the design is the location, views of the bay of Alcudia and beyond can be seen from nearly every hole. Club Alcanada is the only course in Mallorca that is right alongside the sea. You will find pure nature on this course with a variety of wild life and rare species of birds, especially in the early morning hours.
